Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No for the free tools and the landing-page composer. Yes to generate full prompt packs, save them and use PromptForge AI.
Is PromptForge affiliated with the tools it exports to?
No. PromptForge writes files in the formats those tools document; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Can I edit an export after generating it?
Yes. Open the pack, click Edit on any file, change it and save. Regenerating later will replace edits, and PromptForge warns you first.
What happens when I reach a limit?
You can keep generating with the standard engine. Saving new packs or using AI waits until the 1st of next month, or until you upgrade.
How do I get help?
Open a ticket from Help. Signed-in users can track tickets in the dashboard under Help.
Glossary
| Term | Meaning |

| Brief | Your free-text description of what you are building. |
| Prompt pack | The set of exports generated from one brief, saved as one item. |
| Export / target | One tool-specific file inside a pack, such as AGENTS.md. |
| Context kit | Reusable saved context you can attach to any pack. |
| Readiness | A 0–100 score of how complete your context is for the selected tools. |
| Workspace | A container for packs and kits. Personal or shared (Team plan). |
| AI action | One use of Structure with AI, Refine with AI or Run it with PromptForge AI. |
| AI-enhanced pack | A Generate run where PromptForge AI rewrites the exports. |
